USDA National Nutrient Database
YOU ARE WHAT YOU EAT
I am not a glutton - I am an explorer of food.
- Erma Bombeck

This page utilizes data from Release 21 of the U.S. Department of Agriculture's (USDA) national nutrient database to provide user-selected access to the nutrient content of over 7,400 different foods. The Nutrient Data Laboratory (NDL) has the responsibility to develop USDA's National Nutrient Database for Standard Reference, the foundation of most food and nutrition databases in the US; used in food policy, research, and nutrition monitoring. Their database products are available to the public and scientific community. NDL is one of seven units in the Beltsville Human Nutrition Research Center (BHNRC) of the Agricultural Research Service (ARS).
