This video was produced by a group affiliated with the University of Colorado called Interactive Geology Project. It is a very well done animated rendition of the geologic history of Colorado. It was originally presented at the 2015 convention of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists in Denver, so it has a little extra emphasis on oil and gas geology (at least it seems that way to me) but it should be of interest to non-geologists in understanding how Colorado geology and physiography developed over the earth's history.
